When: April 25 – June 14, 2024
Deadline: The deadline for submitting designs is June 14, 2024. Any designs received after this date will not be considered.
Eligibility: The contest is open to all customers and followers of Random Hippie who are residents of the United States and are 18 years of age or older.
Design Theme: Designs must be original and related to the theme of Retro/Hippie. Any designs that are deemed inappropriate, offensive, or unrelated to the theme will be disqualified.
Submission Guidelines: Designs must be submitted digitally in a high-resolution format (SVG or PNG) via email to randomhippie2022@gmail.com by June 14, 2024. Please ensure to include your name, phone number and email address with your entry. Each participant can submit up to 2 designs.
Artwork Specifications: Submitted artwork must be a digital design, in PNG or SVG file formats. Random Hippie may request vector artwork of the winning design, if applicable. Participants should consider where they would like their design printed, as Random Hippie can print on the sleeves, front and back of short sleeve t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, and/or sweatshirts. The size of the design is up to the designer, but Random Hippie can only print a maximum image of 11x16 inches. There are no restrictions on colors.
Ownership of Designs: By submitting a design, participants agree that Random Hippie will have the exclusive rights to reproduce, print, and sell the design on products sold in store and online at www.randomhippie.com.
Winner Selection: The winning design will be selected through a voting process by Random Hippie customers and/or staff. Details of the voting process will be communicated to participants after the submission deadline. The winner will be notified via email and announced on Random Hippie's social media channels.
Prizes: The winner of the contest will receive 4 free shirts featuring their design, in sizes of their choosing. In addition, they will receive a 30% commission on the net profit* of the first 25 shirts sold featuring their design. A one-time payment (equivalent to 30% of the net profits made from the sale of 25 shirts, and no less than $75) will be awarded to the winner following the sale of 25 total shirts sold featuring their design. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
*Net profits are defined as the total revenue generated by the shirts featuring the winning design, minus the cost of production and any applicable overhead expenses.
Publicity: By participating in the contest, participants agree to allow Random Hippie to share their design, as well as their name and photo, on Random Hippie's social media channels and website for promotional purposes.
Judging Criteria: Designs will be judged based on creativity, originality, adherence to the theme, and overall appeal.
Disqualification: Random Hippie reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the contest rules or that is deemed inappropriate.
Modification of Rules: Random Hippie reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time.
